Swindon Town are delighted to announce the signing of midfielder Liam Kinsella, subject to EFL approval.
The 27-year-old has spent the entirety of his professional career with his previous side Walsall, before making the move to SN1 this summer.
During his time with the Saddlers, Kinsella has become a well-recognised figure within the EFL, making over 200 appearances across League One and Two and will be hoping to continue this with Town for the 2023/24 season.
The midfielder joins Swindon following a spell with the Republic of Ireland international youth teams earlier in his career too, appearing for both the U19s and U21 age groups from 2015 to 2018.
Domestically, the midfielder has also achieved recent seasons of success too, picking up Walsall's Player of the Season award for both the 2020-21 and 2021-22 seasons.
The former Walsall man will be looking to continue this kind of successful form under a manager he has worked under previously, with Flynn and Kinsella having worked together at Walsall last season too.
Speaking to Town’s Media Team, he said: "I'm absolutely buzzing to get the deal done now, I've been training with the lads for the last couple of days and to get the deal sorted and done, I'm delighted to be here.
"Swindon's always up there, it's a massive club and I'm just really excited to get going to be honest."
