Swindon Town

Swindon Town Football Club can announce its men’s first-team pre-season schedule, with a number of friendlies set to take place before the Robins kick off their 2023/24 Sky Bet League Two campaign in August.

We will get our pre-season underway, as we do each year, with a friendly at local step three side Swindon Supermarine on Wednesday 5th July, before heading to step four’s Melksham Town the following Saturday, July 8th.

Under new manager Michael Flynn, the Robins will then face step five side Corsham Town on Tuesday 11th July, at the Southbank Ground.

The third week of pre-season will then feature a further three friendlies, the first of which will be away to Championship side Bristol City on Tuesday 18th July. That evening, a second Swindon Town side will make the 65-mile journey for a friendly against Hereford FC, of the National League North.

Town will then travel to the Silverlake Stadium, home of National League side Eastleigh, for a friendly on Saturday 22nd July - before rounding off pre-season preparations at home to League One champions Plymouth Argyle a week later, on Saturday 29th July.
