It’s time to vote for your 2022/23 Women’s Player of the Season

Which of our star performers from this season takes the crown?

3 May 2023

It’s time for you to choose your Women’s Player of the Season for 2022/23.

Following the amalgamation of our women’s team into the football club back in October 2022, the side set clear ambitions and have grown significantly both on and off the field, which includes some standout performances from our girls over the campaign.

We’ve whittled it down to four nominees for you, our dedicated fans, to choose from.

You’ll need to get your votes in by 3pm this Sunday (7 May).

Player 1: Megan Attenborough

A player in the heart of the Robins midfield that rarely misses a fixture, Megan has featured 28 times in a Town shirt.

Her tenacity and strong performances in the middle of the park has seen her voted Player of the Match by the opposition six times this season.

Player 2: Annie Colston

Goals, goals and more goals, Annie Colston is well known for her knack of finding the net.

The clinical forward has netted 25 goals in 28 games this term and is the clubs leading scorer.

Player 3: Emily McGrogan

Fingertip saves and reaction stops, not a lot fazes this young shot-stopper.

Emily has kept her team in a lot of games this season keeping six clean sheets along the way.

She’s a managers dream between the sticks and even has plaudits from the opposition in the games she has featured.

Player 4: Helena Diaz-Butcher

How may Helena assist you?

The rapid winger made a statement with her explosive runs and trickery back in October’s FA Cup thrashing of Paulton Rovers at The County Ground and has continued that fine form throughout the campaign with 16 assists, becoming the clubs leading playmaker.
