Vote now for your 2022/23 Save of the Season!

Which fine stop from Sol Brynn tops your list?

3 May 2023

We’re giving you the chance to vote for your Save of the Season from the 2022/23.

Our loanee stopper Sol Brynn has been one of our standout performers this term, racking up a whopping 133 saves to date, so we’ve whittled these down to what we think are his best four that you can select as the overall winner.

From point-blank stops to acrobatic finger-tip saves, Sol has helped Town across the line on numerous occasions throughout 2022/23 - but no it’s over to you!

The deadline to get your votes in is Sunday 7 May and you can vote here.

Save 1: Sol Brynn: Swindon Town 0-0 Salford City

One of four fine stops on the day as the Town number one single-handedly preserved a clean sheet back in August against City.

This fingertip save denied the visitors what could have been the winner!

Save 2: Sol Brynn: Swindon Town 0-0 AFC Wimbledon

Another clean sheet for Brynn at home to The Dons back in December, with the 22-year-old equal to Wimbledon striker Josh Davison’s effort from 12 yards out - one of six crucial saves that afternoon!

Save 3: Sol Brynn: Northampton 1-2 Swindon Town

Brynn helped The Robins to three big points away at Northampton in late December with a stunning diving stop to keep Louis Appere’s rising strike from finding the top corner.

Save 4: Sol Brynn : Swindon Town 0-2 Doncaster Rovers

Our final nominee is another acrobatic effort from the Town stopper, with Donny winger Kyle Hurst denied this time.

His goal bound header was somehow kept out from nestling into the top corner with a leaping right-hand save.
