This is the first of a series of regular updates to highlight the work done in the local community by Swindon Town players and staff.
Goalkeeper Lewis Ward visited Great Western Hospital to visit Town fans who are currently on the stroke ward there.
The original plan was to visit one fan in the hospital, however, two extra Swindon fans were there and were ecstatic to see the Town keeper during his visit.
When discussing the visit, Shane Hewlett, (Assistant Head of Foundation at STFC Community Foundation), said: "It was great to have Jake and Dan attend Croft Primary School this week who were fantastic ambassadors for the club.
"Both players spoke to the children about the importance of staying physically active and to make healthy food choices”.
The month ended with captain Charlie Austin visiting the Smyths store in Swindon to meet Town supporters, sign autographs, and play a couple of games against fans of the new EA FC 24 video game.
Store Manager of Smyths Toys Superstores Swindon, James Davies, said when reflecting on the visit: "We really enjoyed having Charlie join us in-store and meeting the fans and trying out the new EA FC24 game.
"I know he's a bit of a PlayStation 5 gamer himself, so I’m sure he enjoyed taking part and meeting the fans too!"
