Swindon Town can confirm Jacob Wakeling has left the club and joined League One side Peterborough United for an undisclosed fee, subject to EFL approval.
The forward had made 50 appearances for Town, scoring eight times.
He now moves up to the third tier of English football, with a side that narrowly missed out on promotion last season, following a semi-final play-off defeat to Sheffield Wednesday.
After a strong season with Swindon in 2022/23, Wakeling had made four appearances, including a substitute appearance in a penalty-shootout defeat to new club Peterborough back in August, before returning from a minor injury that kept him out of action for a short period.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank Jacob for all his efforts during his time with us and wish him all the very best for the future.
