Town scoring well in the Green Football Cup

Support Swindon and help the club rise up the GFC leaderboard

2 February 2024

With Green Football Weekend coming up soon, Swindon Town proudly finds itself in the top 15 of the Green Football Cup leaderboard so far.

Swindon fans can score green goals and represent the club
Football and food go hand in hand – from pies eaten on the terraces to chips and gravy shared at half-time, or oranges passed around dressing rooms.

This year, Green Football Weekend is encouraging you to give veggies a go!

What we eat impacts our health and performance. Eating more veg helps reduce injuries, improve recovery times, increase circulation and importantly, protect our world.

If the UK’s football fans had one veggie meal a day, we could save the equivalent of removing 5.5 million cars from the road each year.

So this Green Football Weekend, take green action, score points for Swindon and enter for the chance to win prizes at greenfootballweekend.com

You could bag eight goals in just two minutes by doing the following:
1. Head to www.greenfootballweekend.com
2. Hit the 'Pledge to Take Action' button and pledge your club – three goals
3. Return to www.greenfootballweekend.com and click 'Take Action and Snap a Shot'
4. Download the 'Veggie Cookbook' for one goal
5. Take the GFW Quiz for one goal
6. Use the AI Veggie Meal Generator for one goal
7. Sign a friend up for two goals

It's as simple as that!
