Midfielder arrives from MK Dons

5 January 2024

Swindon Town are delighted to announce the signing of MK Dons midfielder Dawson Devoy on a loan deal until the end of the 23/24 season, subject to EFL approval.

The 22-year-old graduated from League of Ireland Premier side Bohemians back in 2019 and impressed during his three seasons there.

Devoy featured regularly in both the league and European competition, with the Irish side competing in the UEFA Europa Conference League too.

The midfielder picked up several individual accolades during his time with Bohemians, as Devoy was named the PFAI Young Player of the Year and featured in the PFAI Team of the Year in 2021.

This, in turn, saw him receive international achievements, by appearing seven times for the Republic of Ireland U21s too.

Following this success in his home country, Devoy earned a move to MK Dons, with the midfielder making over 30 appearances in England's third tier.

This season, the midfielder has made 14 appearances for his parent club, picking up a goal and three assists as he looks to build on his performances so far this campaign.
