Swindon Town Football Club and the County Ground are delighted to be hosting Chris Moyles: 90s Hangover this coming Saturday, and ahead of the event here’s some answers to some frequently asked questions.

General:

Who can attend Chris Moyles: 90s Hangover?

Chris Moyles: 90s Hangover is open to 18 years and above but the following conditions apply:

Any adult must have an acceptable form of ID on them (please see below the types of ID we accept).

Forms of ID:

The club only accepts the following forms of ID as proof of age:

  • Valid Photo Driving Licence
  • Valid Provisional Photo Driving Licence
  • Valid Passport
  • Valid Pass Card from the national proof of age standards scheme

ID must be original. No copies or photos will be accepted.

Swindon Town Football Club reserves the right to refuse admission if there is any doubt that the ticket holder is under the entry requirement.

Entrance:

Turnstiles will open at 2pm and those who have purchased Standard tickets will gain entry to the Stadium through the Town End turnstiles.

VIP and Hospitality ticket holders will be able to enter the stadium from 1:30pm, with VIP Ticket Holders entering the County Ground via Legends Lounge which is located outside of the Arkell’s Stand.

Hospitality Ticket Holders will enter the Stadium via Main Reception and be shown to the 1879 Hospitality Suite.

VIP ticket holders will have access too:

VIPs ticket holders will enter through the Legends Lounge entrance on the corner of the Arkells Stand and have access to:

  • Lounge access
  • Exclusive VIP Toilets
  • Lower tier seats with a view of the stage
  • Access to the pitch standing area

Hospitality ticket holders will have access to:

Hospitality ticket holders will enter through Main Reception located in the Arkells Stand and will have access to:

  • Private Bar Facility
  • Exclusive Hospitality Toilets
  • Executive Buffet
  • Meet and Greet selected artists
  • Halfway line padded seats with a view of the stage
  • Access to the pitch standing area

Entry for wheelchair users and ambulant disabled fans will be via the Disabled Entrance located on the corner of the Arkell’s Stand, labeled E1.

Challenge 25:

We operate a strict Challenge 25 policy across all bars at the festival and ID is required to buy and drink alcohol.

Re-admittance to the festival:

Upon entry to the County Ground, fans will not be able to exit the stadium and return a later time.

We also understand that certain extreme circumstances can arise where leaving the site is essential. In this case, security will use their discretion and permission won’t be unreasonably withheld.

What is the latest time I can enter the festival?

Turnstiles and entrances will close at 18:00hrs.

Will you take cash payments?

Payment at catering concessions and bars for the festival will be cashless so please ensure that you have a valid debit or credit card available for making purchases.

Card and Cash payments will be accepted for Hospitality Guests in the 1879 Suite.

Is Chris Moyles: 90s Hangover accessible?

We are very pleased to tell you that our site will be accessible, Wheelchair users can access the designated area in the County Ground’s Town End stand which has an elevated wheelchair viewing area.

What does the VIP ticket give me?

A VIP and hospitality tickets for Chris Moyles: 90s Hangover include:

  • A dedicated VIP entrance with access to the Legends Lounge
  • A dedicated bar
  • Access to seats with a view of the stage or to the standing area on the pitch
  • Exclusive access to toilets

Will you be showing the FA Cup final between Manchester City and Manchester United?

The FA Cup final between Manchester City and Manchester United will be shown live throughout the County Ground, in the concourses in the Don Rogers, where various Kiosks will be serving food and drink, VIP in the Legends Lounge and in the 1879 Hospitality Suite.

Where is the afterparty being held for Chris Moyles: 90s Hangover?

We are delighted to announce that our official afterparty will be held on Bridge Street at Power Lounge Swindon with event giants Clubland hosting their Clubland Classix including Flip n’ Fill, Ian Van Dahl, Mark Breeze, Craig Knight, and hosted by Keyes and MC Wotsee.

Car parking:

Our car park will open at 10am on Saturday and if you are driving to the County Ground, please ensure you have purchased parking in advance, you can do so by emailing Vicki on vicki@swindontownfc.co.uk

General:

The postcode for the County Ground is SN1 2ED. Our site has two main entrances via County Road. Please head towards County Road and follow signs for the County Ground (Swindon Town Football Club).

Public and Taxi pick-up and drop off:

If you are being dropped off at the festival, either by taxi or someone else you will need to use our designated drop-off and pickup area within the County Ground carpark.

Our Official Ride Partner for Chris Moyles: 90s Hangover is Veezu. They will be offering an increased service for Chris Moyles: 90s Hangover but pre-booking is highly recommended. To book your service with Veezu, please call 01793 701 701 or book via their app.

Train and Bus Services:

Swindon Railway Station is situated under a mile away from the County Ground and busses are available from next to the Railway Station or within the Bus Station just two minutes away from the train station.

Ground Regulations

The Club’s Ground Regulations provide a comprehensive list of prohibited items and the standards of behaviour we expect from fans attending the festival to include but not limited to the following specific items:

Can I bring my own food and drink onto site?

Customers will not be allowed to bring their own food or drink onto the festival site. However, we will have a range and selection of food and drink available to purchase on-site from different kiosks and bars. We will also have Vegan and Vegetarian options available.

We do not have any Gluten Free options on-site for those who suffer from Celiac disease and those customers will be able to bring their own gluten-free food into the venue, with prior authorisation from Swindon Town Football Club by emailing on the email below.

If you have any specific allergies that you are concerned we may not be able to cater for on-site, please email us concert@swindontownfc.co.uk to discuss your requirements with us.

Can I bring my own bag onto the site?

You will be allowed to bring your own bag with you but we advise that you pack light. A maximum of one bag the size of an A4 piece of paper per person, as per our ground regulations which can be found here.

To maximise the safety of everyone attending Chris Moyles: 90s Hangover, all customers will be subject to a thorough security check when they arrive.

Please be patient if there are queues and familiarise yourself with the below security and police policy as well as the prohibited items before you arrive to avoid unnecessary delays at the security checks.

We recommend you don’t bring any unnecessary valuables. Unfortunately, festivals can attract opportunistic thieves. Keep valuables safe.

Please note that we do not have lockers of secure storage for your belongings on-site.

Can I bring cigarettes or vapes with me?

The County Ground is a no-smoking venue for Cigarettes and E-cigarettes/Vapes, although we will be enforcing a strict smoking zone within the venue.

Smoking and vaping will only be permitted in our designated area at the County Ground.

  • More than one bag of any size.
  • Air horns
  • Animals (except assistance dogs)

  • Bags larger than A4 paper (One bag per person permitted)
  • Chinese or Sky Lanterns
  • Drones
  • Fireworks
  • Food and Drink
  • Flares
  • Gazebos
  • Generators
  • Glass
  • Illegal substances
  • Knives
  • Liquid fuels
  • Marker pens
  • Megaphones
  • Nitrous oxide and/or whippers
  • Portable laser equipment and pens
  • Speaker or sound systems
  • ‘Legal Highs’ and unidentifiable substances
  • Skateboards, roller skates and bikes
  • Spray cans
  • Unauthorised items for trading, including any good using unauthorised event logos
  • Unauthorised professional film, video, or camera equipment (lens bigger than 6”)
  • Unofficial tabards or reflective jackets
  • Weapons (or any items which may reasonably be considered for use as a weapon)

Police and Security Policy:

The premises license issued to the County Ground by Swindon Borough Council has conditions attached to it relating to the reporting of crime and to formulate a drugs policy with Wiltshire Police.

You will be searched at the entrance. Any items which Swindon Town Football Club considers may be used in an illegal or offensive manner will be confiscated. Neither anti-social nor illegal behaviour will be tolerated and participants will leave themselves liable for eviction from the event and possible arrest.

Swindon Town Football Club will ensure a robust and effective search procedures of patrons entering the event or suspected of possessing drugs once in the event itself. If persons are found within the event to be in possession of controlled drugs they may be presented to police who will undertake appropriate investigative measures. They will then assist security officers if necessary in evicting the persons from the event.

Where there are grounds to suspect that a person is involved in the supply of controlled drugs, they will be detained, arrested, and dealt with by the police accordingly.

For security reasons, all ticket holders will be subject to extra searches of their bags and their person at this event. This may make the entrance slower and we ask everyone to be patient and we thank you in advance for your cooperation with any security requests and all searches.

Can I bring a camping chair and/or Picnic Blanket?

Camping chairs are not permitted at Chris Moyles: 90s Hangover, although picnic blankets will be permitted and allowed at the County Ground but will be removed if left unattended.

Site Facilities:

Will there be something to charge my phone?

There are no phone charging facilities available in general admission areas

Will there be lockers on site?

There will not be any lockers on site to store your belongings.

Toilets:

Toilets will be available across the entire event site and this includes disabled toilets.

Medical and Welfare:

Our medical and welfare team will be available and located within the Medical Room at the County Ground, they will be open throughout the entire duration of the event and are there to help you with any issues you might have.
