Town captured the signing of Gambian midfielder Saidou Khan from Chesterfield in July 2022.
The 26-year-old made 37 league appearances for The Spireites last season, helping himself to six goals for the National League side.
Born in The Gambia, Khan spent his early career in English non-league football with spells at Dulwich Hamlet, Kingstonian, Chipstead, Tooting & Mitcham United and Carshalton Athletic.
In 2019 he joined Maidstone United in National League South, clocking up 32 league starts before a successful loan spell at Dagenham & Redbridge in 2021 which impressed Chesterfield, who captured his signature in July last year.
By November he was their joint top-scorer under James Rowe, with the club reportedly turning down several offers for his services earlier this year.
