Snapped up by Town on a free transfer prior to the start of the 2013/14 campaign, Yaser Kasim wasted little time in proving his class and potential in the middle of the park.

Once on the books of Brighton & Hove Albion, the midfielder had spent short stints with Luton Town and Macclesfield Town before putting pen to paper at SN1.

Composed with the ball at his feet and able to pick a pass, Kasim impressed hugely during his debut campaign in Wiltshire before playing a key role in Town's run to the 2014/15 League One Play-Off Final at Wembley.

Kasim's sparkling form that season earned him a call-up to the Iraq National side and he flourished on the international stage too, being pipped to the 2015 Asian Cup's Most Valuable Player Award by Town team-mate, Massimo Luongo.

Although injuries have hampered his last two campaigns, Kasim is still capable of being a game-changer on his day and he's currently considering a contract offer from The Reds.
