Murray To Be Assessed Ahead Of Cobblers Test

26 September 2016

Town midfielder Sean Murray will be assessed ahead of tomorrow’s game at home to Northampton Town (7.45pm Kick-Off).

The 22-year-old missed the Robins’ 2-0 win away at Oldham Athletic on Saturday after bruising his foot during the defeat to Bristol Rovers last week.

However, after undergoing a scan, the results came back clear with Murray having avoided any broken bones.

Town Head Coach Luke Williams will now run the rule over the creative force’s fitness before deciding whether or not to include him in his plans for the visit of the Cobblers to SN1 tomorrow night.

“Sean is mending well and he’s got a chance to be involved in the squad,” Williams told swindontownfc.co.uk.

“We will have to keep an eye on that over the course of today and tomorrow.”

However, tomorrow’s game will come too soon for the likes of Michael Doughty, Brad Barry and James Brophy.

“We are as we were going into the Oldham game,” Williams continued.

“James Brophy is still struggling with sickness so it doesn’t look like he will be able to take part in this squad.”
