Important Rail Travel Information

SWINDON Town Football Club would like to pass on the following message from Network Rail to supporters.

On Saturday 23rd August, when Town entertain Crewe Alexandra, there will be no trains at Swindon to get supporters to the match. All lines are closed due to planned engineering works.

Buses are replacing trains but journey times will be considerably extended.

Fans travelling from Chippenham, Bath Spa, Kemble, Stroud, Stonehouse, Gloucester, Didcot Parkway and Bristol Parkway would be conveyed by rail replacement coach service.

Fans travelling from Westbury, Trowbridge and Melksham would be conveyed by a rail replacement coach service but a change of coaches will be required at Chippenham.

Fans travelling from Bristol TM and beyond could either travel by train to Bath Spa or Bristol Parkway for a rail replacement coach.

Fans travelling from London and Reading can travel by train to Didcot Parkway for the rail replacement coach service.
