THE Town travelled to Kent and crushed Long Lane by twelve goals to nil in the SSE Women’s FA Cup third qualifying round, writes Roger Reeves.

It was not until the 36th minute that Beth Westlake opened the scoring; she later went on to complete her hat-trick. There was also a hat-trick for Michelle Rich and two goals apiece from Meg Attenborough, Abby Picton and Chyna Collings.
 
Despite the scoreline, the plucky Kent Side, who play in the South East Counties League, kept going to the final whistle.
