Williams: We Won't Be Taking Anything For Granted

26 February 2016

LUKE Williams says that Town will not be taking anything for granted when they head to Peterborough tomorrow afternoon.

The Posh have lost their last three games in League 1 and the Swindon boss declared that his players will look to dominate the game at the ABAX Stadium in a bid to repeat the outcome of last season's encounter in Cambridgeshire.

"If you look at Barnsley, they lost six games in a row this year and now they're looking in a good position," he told the official website. "We lost plenty of games ourselves this year and we're looking in a lot better shape so we won't be taking anything for granted. Home and away the boys know the expectation is try to get all three points and try to dominate the game regardless of the circumstances.

"We played very well there last year and got the result. We'll be looking to go there and do the same again. The strength of their team is that they can move and change positions very well and can pass the ball very well."

The manager also provided an update on the current state of the squad available to him on Saturday afternoon.

"Very good," he said. "Obviously we've still got Yaser (Kasim) which is going to be a bit of a longer term issue but everyone else is good."
